Donald Trump And Boris Johnson Street Art Predicted The Future

Donald Trump and Boris Johnson Street Art predicted the future

Donald Trump and Boris Johnson exchange saliva

Remember that? The image of Boris Johnson and Donald Trump in a toe-curling clinch first appeared in May 2016.

That was before the EU referendum, before the presidential elections and before the last parliamentary elections. For many it seemed like a nightmare that never happened.

Now it has - if not the exchange of saliva, then at least its symbolism.

The street art that first appeared in Bristol but was soon copied in London was the work of the anti-Brexit campaign group We Are Europe. At the time, spokeswoman Harriet Kingaby said, "People need to look at this picture and think, is that the future I want?"

Whatever we thought, it is a future that has now become reality. Donald Trump in the White House and Boris Johnson fumble at the keys for number 10.

We can only hope that Street Art does not foresee the career of the new Prime Minister.
